Kara VanderPol - Kara is very excited to begin her third year teaching at Ada Village Preschool in the 4-year-old classroom. Kara graduated from Calvin University with a degree in Elementary Education with a focus on science and fine arts. She continued her education and received a Master of Arts for Teachers in General Sciences from Michigan State University. Kara was a 1st and 4th grade classroom teacher in Maine and Michigan before working as a Program Manager for an early-literacy non-profit organization based in Denver, Colorado for several years. Being a mom to her two children is her greatest joy. She loves to spend her time with her family, taking her dog Barley for walks, exploring, reading, and drinking coffee.
